In collaboration with Times of India, I.T.I. Central School initiated (NIE) Newspaper in Education since 2011, it is a novel program that helps students to stay ahead and aims at making “learning fun”.
It leads to a smaller and superior learning experience. Information is crafted that it finds use in classroom discussion, making it relevant. The current use of concepts fosters to pave way and aspires the young minds to equip them to face challenges of today’s world, making way for global citizens.
Children of I.T.I. C.S. participates in all the events conducted by N.I.E. like story writing contests, quiz, painting, articles, National Aptitude Math Challenge tests etc. Students of class IX and X std are selected every year as the toppers in All India Math Challenge Test and won tabs and many prizes.
In Short Story Contest out of 250 entries, 25 are being compiled into a book of wars launched by N.I.E., the budding authors of I.T.I. C.S. received trophies and certificates with a compiled book of stories.
N.I.E. conducts classes in the school for twice a month where General applications of science, math are taught with experiments and moral values.
The program organized by N.I.E. comprises diverse interesting activities and events that boost the child’s passion for learning while revealing hidden talents that serves as a catalyst of education and interaction as well as a window into the minds of the quite essential youth of future India.
